The brief
Post-pandemic, Calgary’s downtown needed people back. The City was running programs to help businesses and communities recover, and it needed to show them working, not just announce them.
The idea
A series of short documentaries, each one a single downtown business in its own words. Owners, regulars, the room itself. The programs show up where they belong: inside real stories.
