The brief

The City of Calgary wanted to explain what affordable housing actually means for the city and its communities. Policy language wasn’t going to move anyone.

The idea

Real people, real rooms. We followed the people who build, fund and live in affordable housing and let them tell it: interviews shot like portraits, and life at home shot like it’s nobody’s business.
